22nd AGM 2013 – THANK YOU & PICTURES

The meeting ended with a fine tone. Thank you very much for making this effort to participate this year conference given the fact that the venue is offline from an International airport having to travel 2 hours or so either from Kuala Lumpur or Singapore. Nevertheless, it was an excellent opportunity for us to get together to brain storm and to visit history of this beautiful town having strong background history with Dutch & Portuguese influence.

There were many pictures taken during the AGM and it has been hosted on FACEBOOK. You are encourage to visit the Group FACEBOOK to download pictures. Obviously you are welcome to interact through this media giving your thoughts and comment. To excess FACEBOOK, you may visit the Group website and then scroll down to the bottom left where you will see a FACEBOOK icon. Click that and it would lead you to the Group page. If you do not have a FACEBOOK, perhaps consider to register as it is free and you may track the Group event through this channel.
Unfortunately those members in China may not be able to visit FACEBOOK unless using VPN. This is owing to the Chinese government barring excess of FACEBOOK in China. The Group HQ will be working on alternative – perhaps via Weibo for members in that area to visit pictures / news.
Incidentally, it would be appreciated if members who have pictures to share can do so through FACEBOOK or sending it via DROPBOX to
GROUP WEBSITE
During the recent AGM, discussion has been made on the development of the Group website. The committee has agreed to revamp and already employ an IT firm to design and make good what is beneficial to members and the public. The image of the Group and confidentiality of members will be taken into consideration.
Obviously this is your web page and you are free to provide your views, suggestions and comment. What do you want to see from the webpage? Do you want it to be informative, integrative or both. As we are working towards a time frame, please send your thoughts to Group Secretary and myself. We hope we can have your view by the end of June and allows the IT to work on it immediately.
Moreover, promotion will be host at the website hence members are encouraged to submit your current offer that may attract business within the Group and the community at large.
